Come Create a Gingerbread House with Us!

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 Gingerbread House Family Workshop 5:30-8:30 PM
Cost is $10.00 per child + Supplies.  Accompanying adult is free.  Limit is 2 children per adult.  Sign-up soon!  The classroom max is 12.  Sign-up at the register at least 24 hours in advance.

Thursday, December 6, 2012 Gingerbread House Class 5:30-8:30 PM
Cost is $20 per adult + Supplies.  Sign-up soon!  The classroom max is 12.  Sign-up at the register at least 24 hours in advance.


Supplies for each class includes:

• Gingerbread House Kit (includes prebaked, precut gingerbread pieces, pre-made icing, 2 colors fondant, candy pieces, decorating bag, round plastic tip)
• Spatula (for icing and decorating)
• 1 Plastic Dowel Rod or Rolling Pin (for rolling out fondant)
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for making snow around house)
• Paper Towels or Napkins for clean-up
• 24 inch piece of narrow Ribbon, string or yarn (to decorate the edge of the board)
• Scissors
• Tape
• Apron
• Box to carry home finished house

January Classes

Wilton Course 1 Decorating Basics

There will be a Wilton Course 1 starting in January on Thursdays.  We will meet January 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 6:30-8:30 PM.  Make sure you sign up at least 24 hours in Advance.  AS OF 11/2/12 THERE ARE ONLY 4 SPOTS LEFT IN THIS CLASS!  So sign up fast!  Sign up before 11/10/12 and it is only $10!

Wilton Course 2 Flowers & Cake Design

Come learn how to pipe beautiful Royal Icing Flowers!  Course 2 Flowers & Cake Design will start on Tuesdays in January.  We will meet January 8, 15, 22, & 29 from 6:30-8:30 PM.  Make sure you sign up at least 24 hours in Advance.  This class is 50% off right now!

December Decorating Basics Class

There is a Wilton Course 1 Decorating Basics class starting on December 2nd at 10:30 AM.  If you are interested make sure you sign up at least 24 hours in Advance.  We will meet on December 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  Sign up before 11/10/12 and it is only $10!

Basics Classes Starting Next Week

November Decorating Basics Classes starting next week!  If you are signed up you will receive an email or a phone call.  Just incase you misplaced your supply list, here it is...

• Wilton Decorating Basics Student Kit at Michaels
• Wilton Ready to Use Decorators Icing at Michaels (if you are taking this class with someone you may share this item)
• Wilton Icing Colors (Optional)
• 6 plain flat Cookies with something to transport them home
• a Bag to carry home soiled decorating tools
• damp cloth
• scissors
• apron (Optional)
• Pen or Pencil

Course 1 Decorating Basics

You learn this technique in Course 1.  It's a pattern transfer then filled in with icing!

Upcoming Classes

Since both Course 1 classes in November are full I have the calendars for December and January.  In December there will be a Course 1 on Sundays December 2, 9, 16, 23 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Then in January there will be a Course 1 on Thursday nights January 10, 17, 24, 31 from 6:30-8:30 pm.  If you sign up for Course 1 before November 10th then it is still only $10.00.

Wilton Demo Saturday

On Saturday, October 20 there will be a Wilton Grand Opening Demo at Michaels.  Make sure you stop by from 12-4pm and check it out.

November Wilton Classes

November classes on Monday and Tuesday nights are full!  It's so exciting to see so many people interested in cake decorating this time of year.  It's a great way to prepare for making all of those holiday cookies and desserts.  Look forward to seeing everyone signed up in class!
